The car producing company Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge were looking for a team building experience that would help them make their new company values more tangible for their employees. The six values were: corporative, courageous, customer oriented, efficient, mindful, honest.
In Hanover, Germany, 120 employees from the internal HR sector of VW Nutzfahrzeuge participated in two team building programs, Beat the Box and Go Team - iChallenge over a 1.5 hour period. The programs were uniquely tailored to match the requirements of the brief by Speilgester Team Building This included creating a new theme and introductory video for the Beat the Box event which centred around car production and espionage. Challenges were modified to include the six values with the German word Achtsam, mindfulness being key.
A unique Go Team iChallenge template was designed with individual backgrounds and customised challenges specifically for the event. The common goal of all teams was to collect as many points as possible which were all added to a common scoreboard on a screen. The final achievement of all high scores triggered a confetti rain which resulted in thunderous applause of all participants.
